Skills, expertise and experience

I am an experienced governance and assurance leader with more than two decades of professional experience. He joined the Y’ello Family in 2014 to lead the then Business Risk Management (BRM) at MTN Eswatini.

I holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting Major) and a Master of Business Administration Degree.  He is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

As the Head of Risk & Compliance of MTN South Sudan, Sydney is working with the leadership and staff to improve the maturity of risk management and compliance in the company for the achievement of its strategic objectives, which are aligned with MTN Group’s “Ambition 2025”.
